The Ritchie Ledges, also known as Virginia Kendall Ledges, Overlook in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is one of the most popular vistas in Ohio and is a fantastic place to watch the sunset. The overlook is the high point of the Ledges Trail, a 2-mile trail that passes by some of the most dramatic sandstone ledges in Northeast Ohio created millions of years ago. The overlook is perched atop the nearly 100-foot tall ledges and is another 100 feet above Cuyahoga River. The overlook gives you views across the expansive Cuyahoga Valley and is a wonderful overlook to check out in the fall.
