Description
The Haserot Weeping Angel is located in the historic site of Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. The sculpture was created by Herman Matzen in 1923. Also known as the "Angel of Death Victorious", this statue sits upon the grave site of Francis Haserot and his family. The years have streaked his bronze skin and caused tears of discolored metal to stream from his blank eyes.
