Description
The Barred Owl is the most vocal of Eastern owls. It is named after the bars on its chest. Barred owls reside along forested streams, lakes, rivers, and swamps, particularly in deep woods with big timber. They forage at night and often even during the day.

All of your portraits are awesome, Dale. I especially enjoy the crisp feathers. Better than I could see with my own eyes! F/l
